Hello - do Disneyland dining reservations still open at 6am PST and sometimes 3am PST?

Hello, Valerie. We're so glad to see you back here at planDisney. More so, I'm delighted to answer your question because it involves my favorite activity at the Disneyland Resort...eating delicious food!

I love to hear that you are getting prepared for your 60-day advance dining reservation window to open. I recently made dining reservations for an upcoming visit and am happy to share my experience with you. While there is no official time that dining reservations are released for booking, I found that most, if not all, reservations started appearing at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time. When your booking day arrives, I recommend being signed into your Disney account and ready on the website or in the Disneyland app a few minutes before "go time." Keep in mind that you can only make dining reservations one day at a time. So you may need to repeat this process if you want to book restaurants for each day of your stay. Bring on the coffee, I say!

I also had a strategy to book the most popular places first (like Blue Bayou Restaurant or Oga's Cantina at Disneyland Park) and then move on to other dining locations. I also found that reservations for Oga's Cantina went extremely fast. If this is something on your must-do list, I recommend trying for this reservation first. If you aren't able to book everything that your heart desires, don't fret. There's always the possibility of Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability. This feature is available in the Disneyland app and available at select dining locations. You just need to be near the restaurant where you'd like to join the Walk-Up List.

It looks like you will be visiting after the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort have wrapped up. Who knows what wonderful magical things await us in the new year? It will be such a lovely time to visit as school should be back in session and no guarantee, but I imagine the parks might be a little less busy with lighter crowds.

Well, Valerie, I hope my experience is helpful as you put together your game plan to book your dining reservations for your visit. If you have more questions, please come back to see us. Until then, I'll be sending you all the pixie dust in the hopes that you're able to secure all your most desired dining reservations.
