Fantasmic! is one of my favorite Nighttime Spectaculars! There is nothing like traveling with Mickey himself through his own imagination to face some favorite villains and adventure alongside some beloved heroes! The finale is, for sure, one of my favorite Disneyland moments each and every time! If Fantasmic! is a must-do during your visit, booking a dining package is a great way to secure a prime view of the show. There are a few options to fit every budget that I'm happy to walk you through:
- River Belle Terrace offers two options - Premium and Standard. With the Premium Package, you will dine al fresco under the stars and then watch the evening's first performance right from your table! The River Belle Terrace Fantasmic! Dining Package requires a specific reservation made through the Fantasmic! Dining Package page on the Disneyland Website. If you are not seeing availability, it is sold out for the evening, but keep checking! Guests are always changing their plans and reservations can pop up! To opt for the Standard Package, make a regular lunch or dinner reservation at River Belle Terrace and request the Fantasmic! Dining Package from your server upon arrival. They are subject to availability based on the capacity for that evening, but they are offered for both the first and second performances. With either package, you can choose from the standard menu or opt for some special items offered only to Fantasmic! Dining Package Guests!
- Over at Blue Bayou Restaurant, you would also just make a regular reservation for lunch or dinner and request the Fantasmic! Dining Package with your server. The package includes a voucher for a special viewing spot for that evening's first performance, so be mindful of the time if you are looking to book a dinner reservation. You can dine off the regular menu or there are also some special Fantasmic! items offered here as well!
- If you prefer a quick-service experience, the Fantasmic! On-the-Go Package from Hungry Bear Restaurant is a great option for you! While Hungry Bear does not typically take reservations, you will need to reserve a pick-up time for your full party for one of the Fantasmic! meals. If you choose a pick-up time between 3:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m., you will be reserving a spot for the first show. Pick-up times from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. will include a spot for the second performance. Come hungry because you will get to select from some special Southern favorites created just for Fantasmic! goers ... YUM!
One thing to note is that all the preferred viewing areas are standing-room only, with the exception of those enjoying the Premium Package from the outdoor patio of River Belle Terrace. While you will have secured a spot with an unobstructed view, I still recommend heading on over to the Rivers of America about 45 minutes ahead of your show time to secure a spot within your viewing area. You might be sitting for a bit, so grab a sweet treat on the way in (Mickey Beignets from Mint Julep Bar, anyone?!) and maybe even pack a blanket or something soft to sit on. This also is a great moment to just sit back and take it all in after a busy day in the parks. Sometimes, it's in these moments that I find the most magic.
