Hey there, Becky. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by. I love this question and love this time of year when we go from the spooky season into the holiday season.
Do you hear what I hear? I think it's the sound of sleigh bells and they're just around the corner. There's only one more day of Halloween Time and soon after, the resort will be transformed to usher in the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Although, it will take some time to get the resort and all of its halls fully decked. The holiday season at the Disneyland Resort officially begins on November 10th. Beginning on this day you will see the entire
resort in its holiday glory including the lights dancing over Main Street, U.S.A. with the snow-capped Sleeping Beauty Castle in the distance. It's a stunner for sure.
In the time between the end of the spooky season and before the holidays officially start, you will gradually start seeing decorations being put up around the theme parks and the resort. It can be fun trying to spot some of these decorations before the festivities officially begin.
I'm really looking forward to visiting once the season begins. There's nothing quite like walking through the tunnel and seeing the giant Christmas tree to greet you at Disneyland Park. A holiday tradition of mine is to take a cruise on
"it's a small world" Holiday to get into the spirit of things. And I always enjoy wandering around the
Disney Festival of Holidays over at Disney California Adventure Park. To top it all off, make sure to add a Mickey gingerbread cookie to your list of must-eat treats (trust me). I've been having visions of these dancing in my head lately.
We won't have to wait much longer, Becky, and I hope this information has been helpful. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. We're always here to help with any questions you might have. Here's to your next visit during the merry season to the Happiest Place on Earth!
