When does Disneyland decorate for Christmas? We are planning a trip for mid-November (9-16) and we are wondering if we will luck out and see the magic of Christmas Disney-style in November?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer! I am absolutely thrilled that you are planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort this November!

Official dates for the Holidays have not been released yet, but in years past, Holiday decorations started to go up immediately after Halloween. I once visited the first weekend in November and was lucky enough to see the snow and decorations on Sleeping Beauty Castle and all sorts of garland and other decor up around the park. I would say that with traveling mid-month, you have an extremely good chance of seeing all the festive decor for your visit. You may even get to experience some of the Holiday entertainment like A Christmas Fantasy Parade, "it's a small world" Holiday, and a chance to visit Santa in Disney California Adventure Park. Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog as they will announce the official information on the Holidays (including dates) usually in early autumn.

I hope this helps. Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you have as you plan your trip!
