Hi Christopher,
Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney.
As a Guest like you who enjoys taking in all the magic of the Disney theme parks with my family, I can appreciate how important it is to make family choices when making plans for travel.
One helpful resource for making plans is the updated information available at
Disneyland.com where Guests can
stay in the know about Disneyland Resort operations. It's also helpful to
follow the regular updates that provide current information on the theme park experiences.
While I don't have any official info about theme park capacity, I can certainly understand Guests wanting to get a sense of what to expect when visiting the theme parks, which is why I always recommend checking out the updates provided by the Resort.
One note to keep in mind, Christopher, is that theme park tickets for the Disneyland Resort are
nonrefundable. The good news to share is that you do have time for which your tickets are still valid. For example, one-day tickets purchased this year have a valid use date through December 30, 2022. For multi-day tickets purchased this year, the valid use date is through January 12, 2023 (once you use your first day of a multi-day ticket, the ticket must be used within 13 days). In the event that your unused tickets expire, you can typically apply the amount you paid for the tickets towards the purchase of new tickets.
Though you mention that you decided not to visit the theme parks at this time, I do hope you'll come back and see us at planDisney when you do begin making your plans to take in all the Disney magic at
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. The planDisney panelists love to share tips and ideas based on our own Disney destination vacations.
Christopher, here's wishing you and your family lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
