    Going to Disneyland for my daughter’s 6th birthday. What are some birthday perks to take advantage of? We will be staying at Pixar Pier.

    It's so exciting to hear that you have a Disneyland Resort vacation planned next year for your daughter's birthday! I can't think of a better place to commemorate life's special moments than at Disney. 

    Below are a few ideas for making the birthday girl's trip extra special:

    • Take advantage of Early Entry! As a Disneyland Resort Hotel Guest, you can enter the Theme Parks for an extra 30 minutes in the morning. You also have access to the exclusive entrance to Disney California Adventure Park that is only available to Guests of Pixar Place Hotel.
    • Make time for recreation. Upon checking into your hotel, you should receive a calendar of events during your stay. Be sure to make time to enjoy the various activities only available to Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests.
    • Reserve a Character Dining Experience. Booking a dining reservation at my favorite restaurant is always a treat, but it’s extra special when Disney Characters are there to join the fun! I highly recommend Storytellers Cafe and Goofy's Kitchen.
    • Surprise your daughter with an In-Room Celebration. These are themed gifts that you can purchase ahead of your trip that will magically appear in your room!
    As you can see, these are just a few of the many ways you can celebrate at the Disneyland Resort. Don't forget to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday!" button for your daughter at your hotel or most retail locations across both parks.
