At DisneyLand in California they have handicapped maps showing handicapped access to all the attractions. Do the DisneyWorld theme parks have anything similar? If so, how do I get some of them? (I have a scooter but can walk a short distance)

    Hi Leslie,

WDW does indeed have maps that indicate which attractions can be enjoyed while remaining in an ECV.  The maps also indicate if you must transfer from an ECV to a wheelchair or if a guest must be mobile to board the attraction.  You can pick up a Guide Map as soon as you enter a park which will indicate the information.

You can also find information regarding guests requiring assistance with mobility before your trip on-line by clicking here.  In fact, WDW has a whole section on its website devoted to guests with disabilities - click here.

You'll be happy to hear that WDW offers the same great Guest Relations as Disneyland. Just be prepared that WDW is much bigger.

    Wishing you magical memories!
