Hi there, Wyatt! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your question for us.
I’m delighted to hear you’re bringing your daughter to the Disneyland Resort for the first time. And what a wonderful way to document this momentous trip than meeting her favorite Disney characters and collecting their autographs. There are autograph books for sale throughout the Disneyland Resort. If you are staying at one of the
Disneyland Resort hotels, you can stop by the gift shop to purchase an autograph book even before visiting the theme parks. Prior to our first day at the parks, my family and I like to visit
Downtown Disney District the evening before to get a small dose of Disney. If you’re like us and plan to stroll through Downtown Disney District before your first day at the parks, you can stop by
World of Disney to purchase an autograph book.
Right outside the
Disneyland Park on the far left (when facing the entrance), I have seen autograph books for sale at the Newsstand. However, you will find more options inside the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. Over in
Disney California Adventure Park, I have seen autograph books being sold at Los Feliz Five & Dime.
Because the pens that come with some of the autograph books are usually the typical black ballpoint ones, if you’re looking to add some colorful flair, I recommend bringing your own markers. We’ve brought our own Sharpie markers in assorted colors when collecting autographs. Also, you can check on the
Disneyland Mobile App to find where to meet and greet your favorite Disney characters. In the app, click on the location tab on the bottom (second icon from the left) to open up the map. On the top, click on “Characters” to see where and when to meet your favorite Disney characters.
I wish you and your family a magical trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth! If you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to stop by
planDisney again.
Sending you pixie dust,
Kiki
