Welcome to planDisney Bridgette! How exciting that your trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" is coming up so soon!
I have several close family friends that have celiac disease, and I completely understand how important it is to ensure safety for your daughter during your visit. The Disneyland Resort is very conscientious of Guests with
food allergies and special dietary needs. While they strive to prevent cross-contamination, they cannot guarantee that menu items are completely free of certain allergens.
If you'd like to make a
dining reservation at a table service restaurant, you can indicate dietary restrictions under "Dietary Requests" and select "Wheat/Gluten" when you're making your reservation. It's also recommended that you ask to speak with the special diets trained personnel at the dining location, you can connect with the host and your server when you arrive to make that request.
Another great option is that you are able to bring in outside food to the Disneyland Resort. I know my friends often bring their own food to gatherings and events since they can ensure the safety of their family. I highly recommend speaking with a Cast Member when you arrive to dine, whether you're dining at a table service restaurant or visiting a
quick service dining location. You also are able to
email the Special Diets team no sooner than 14 days prior to your arrival to the Disneyland Resort. They will be a great resource for helping you navigate dining options during your trip.
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming visit, Bridgette! I'm wishing you and your family a very magical trip!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
