Hi, we’re going to Disneyland n California Adven on Oct 27th - 30th. Do I need to purchase anything else besides my regular tickets in order for my kids and I to stay in the park until it closes!? My friend got kicked out bcoz she didn’t an extra bracel

Hey there, hi there, Nathalia! Thanks so much for bringing your planning question to us at planDisney. You've chosen a fantastic time to visit the Disneyland Resort!

It sounds like you have purchased your tickets and hopefully, you have also made your theme park ticket reservations for these dates and parks. Reservations have been pretty widely available lately, but these dates will probably book up being so close to Halloween. If you purchased the tickets through the Disneyland app or Disneyland website you are prompted to pick your dates and parks before purchasing. Once you've purchased your tickets your reservations will be confirmed. If you purchase tickets from somewhere else, you will need to link your tickets to your Disney account and make theme park ticket reservations.

You will be there during Halloween time and Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disneyland Halloween Party will be going on on various nights throughout the months of September and October. I took a look at the dates and there is an event on October 27th and 29th, 2022. This does mean that Disney California Adventure Park will be closing at 6:00 p.m. on these dates for the event. You must have purchased a ticket for this event to remain in the park after the park closes to the public. Unfortunately, tickets for the event are now sold out.

My suggestion is to plan your days and parks to accommodate this. I definitely recommend the Park Hopper option. This will give you more flexibility and that means you could start off at Disney California Adventure Park and then switch over to Disneyland Park before the event on those dates. If you do not have Park Hopper tickets, then the best option would be to schedule Disneyland Park on those dates to avoid the issue altogether.

Don't worry, there's plenty of Halloween fun in the parks for everyone to enjoy. I definitely recommend checking out the Disney Parks Blog towards the end of August to see if they put out information about what will be offered throughout the parks, including the Foodie Guide, which is my favorite because I love getting all the limited-time treats!

Nathalia, I hope this information will help you plan around the Oogie Boogie Bash and help avoid any disappointment. Be sure to stop by again with any other questions!
