Is Disneyland and CA Adventure lifting capacity limits starting June 15?

Hey there, hi there Karen! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be.

June 15th was an exciting day for the theme parks of Disneyland Resort. For the first time in forever (well, at least it seemed that way!), they opened up the gates to out-of-state Guests, and now all are invited to enjoy Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

As we progress through the reopening phases and the Covid-19 situation in our country evolves, Disneyland Resort continues to follow guidance from local and national public health agencies to develop its protocols. Theme park attendance is managed by requiring all Guests (ages 3 and older) to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance.  These theme park reservations are limited to maintain appropriate capacity.

In addition to theme park reservations, to access the Avengers Campus and enjoy certain attractions, you'll need to join a virtual queue or wait in a standby line, two other mouseketools that help Disneyland Resort monitor and manage capacity.

I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip next week, Karen. We can't wait for you to return to a land of magic, and we'll see ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
