Hey there, Kayla, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question because no trip to the Disneyland Resort would be complete without donning your favorite set of
Mickey Ear Hats.
I'm happy to report that the Disneyland Resort has not banned Mickey Ear Hats. The article you might have seen that was suggesting this is from a satirical website. You are absolutely free to bring a different set for each day of your trip if you'd like. All the better to color-coordinate with your outfits!
If you're in the market for a new hat, I saw this awesome
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Ear Hat on a recent visit that is truly unique! It's so great to start seeing more Oswald merchandise in the parks!
My favorite place to look at all the hat options is
The Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A. It's in a great location for a quick stop when you first arrive or as you're leaving the park, and my insider tip is that there are very frequent
character experiences right outside the shop.
Thank you again for your question, Kayla! Your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth will be here in about a week - can you believe it? Make sure to eat a churro for me while you're there! If you think of any other follow-up questions as you continue to plan, make sure to come back and see us here at planDisney.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
