We are going to disneyland in august and i am trying to work out the fireworks. We are planning to see the fanstasmic show and then hoping to see the fireworks. Is this possible?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kasey!

I am so glad you are planning to see the newly re-imagined Fantasmic! The new show features amazing water projections and the dazzling magic you can only expect from Disney. For most of the dates in August, it looks like Fantasmic! has two showtimes, one at 9:00 p.m. and a second show at 10:30 p.m. Since Fantasmic! is approximately 27 minutes long and the "Remember...Dreams Come True" Fireworks Spectacular starts at 9:30 p.m., you have a two options. You can position yourself with a direct view of the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. and then scurry over and find a spot for the 10:30 p.m. showing of Fantasmic! Or, you can watch the first showing of Fantasmic! and then stay put and have a slightly obstructed view of the fireworks. If it were me, I would choose the second option. I wouldn't plan on trying to make it to Main Street, U.S.A after Fantasmic! because it might be rather hectic.

Also, keep in mind that the Main Street Electrical Parade will have it's final performance on August 20th. So if you are visiting on that day or before, that will be yet another nighttime entertainment option to plan around.

Finally, don't forget to grab your FASTPASS for Fantasmic! first thing in the morning. They are distributed near the Rivers of America by Frontier Landing.

I hope you have a truly magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth next month!
