We will be going to Disneyland April 24-26. We were at Disney World back in October of 2012 and missed Pocahontas. She was the only princess we missed. Any place to meet her at Disneyland?

    Hi there Patrick,

Pocahontas is one of my all time favorite Disney characters, but she is one of those elusive characters that can be really hard to find in the Disney Parks.  She does not currently appear in the Disneyland Parks, and I've heard that she is actually becoming more rare at Disney World too, where she used to appear regularly in Animal Kingdom.

But WAIT... there is one glimmer of hope.  Although an official date has not been announced, I do know that some "old school" Disney characters will be making their way into Disneyland Parks as part of this year's Limited Time Magic promotion.  The Disney Parks blog recently posted a poll asking readers to vote on which characters they would like to appear during Long Lost Friends Week, and Pocahontas and John Smith were on that list!  Fingers crossed that this event may coincide with your visit!

If not, be sure to check out the Disney Princesses in their new home Fantasy Faire, a cute, storybook village located at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle.  This wonderful, immersive new area features the Royal Hall meet and greet area, the Royal Theatre where you can enjoy the retold tales of Belle and Rapunzel, and sweet treatst from Maurice's Snack Cart!
