Hi there, Nicole!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your question about your upcoming
Disneyland Resort visit. It looks like your magical visit is just a couple of short weeks away - how exciting! Nicole, enchantment awaits you, as you'll be visiting during the
Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort. You'll have the opportunity to view breathtaking recently-debuted nighttime spectaculars like Wondrous Journeys at
Disneyland Park and World of Color - ONE at
Disney California Adventure Park. What a fantastic way to cap off a fun-filled day in the theme parks!
Nicole, I love having the option to pre-purchase
Disney Genie+ service when I purchase Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. When I visit the Disneyland Resort, I always purchase tickets with the
Park Hopper option and the Disney Genie+ option to maximize my time in the theme parks! When you purchased your theme park tickets, you should have received an email confirmation. Nicole, you should see confirmation of your Disney Genie+ service purchase in this email as well. If you've already linked your theme park admission to your Disney account using the
Disneyland Resort mobile app, you should also be able to view your Disney Genie+ service entitlement attached to your tickets. (If you haven't linked your tickets yet, I encourage you to do so
using the guidance that my fellow panelist, Elizabeth, recently provided to another Guest!)
To confirm your Disney Genie+ service entitlement, open the Disneyland Resort mobile app and tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Next, select "Tickets and Passes." Here, you should see your theme park tickets displayed. If you've purchased Disney Genie+ service, this will be displayed along with the ticket type. Nicole, your Disney Genie+ service entitlement is linked to your theme park admission, so the service will automatically activate upon theme park entry and will expire at the end of the ticketed day. If you don't see the entitlement listed, but think that you purchased the service with your theme park tickets, I encourage you to reach out to the
Tickets phone line for assistance.
Nicole, I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who advised me that Disney Genie+ service is advertised on the Disneyland Resort mobile app as a default, so as long as you've already purchased the entitlement, you're all set for your magical day in the theme parks. I'm wishing you a visit full of excitement and wonder! If you have any additional planning questions, please stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Happiest Place on Earth!
Adventure is out there,
Lauren
