Thank you for your Genie question. As you may have heard, Disney now offers both
the Genie and Genie+ service to Guests visiting the
Happiest Place on Earth.
With both versions, you can enter your must-do’s into the
Disneyland Mobile App. Genie will then magically produce an itinerary for you that will make suggestions on when is the ideal time to enjoy all that there is to offer at Disneyland Resort.
And yes, you can even start planning with Genie before you arrive. Hit the Menu button on the
Disneyland Mobile App (three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner), then “Tip Board.” Near the top, you will see the “My Day” tab on the left. If you select that option, you can change the day. Just hit the arrow button to move to the month of your trip. Note: all days you do not have an active reservation will be grayed out. You will only have the option to select a day you have a reservation already secured.
You can even upgrade to Genie+ for an additional fee if you haven’t purchased the add-on with your ticket. Genie+ will grant you access to
Lightning Lanes, a way to experience a short queue for select rides. My son and I just used Genie+ for our most recent trip to Disneyland Park and really enjoyed all the perks of the service. I hope you do too!
