Does Disneyland do anything special for New Year’s Eve?

Hi Friend! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

It sounds like you're ready to ring in the New Year with some Disneyland Resort magic. You will find plenty of it, during your visit. Disneyland Resort hasn't officially announced all the magical plans for the big night, but you can expect fantastic fireworks, musical entertainment, and lots more. We don't know all the details yet, but typically, you can ring in the New Year surrounded by all this festive fun in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Usually, there are extended park hours and lots of ways to occupy your time through a long park day.

While you're dreaming of the big night, follow the Disney Parks Blog for all the official news on the parks, including New Year's festivities, and keep your eye on the Entertainment Calendar for park hours and entertainment information. I expect will hear more as the end of this year approaches.

Even without knowing every little detail yet, you should begin to make your plans. Make sure you've made your theme park reservations, booked dining, and made reservations for any fun extras you'd like to experience. It's one of the most popular times of the year to visit the parks, so the parks and reservations can fill up! I think it's a great idea to book a meal mid-day. You can rest your feet and recharge for a long night of fun. Lots of dining locations feature seasonal specialties. The Foodie Guide has all the information you need to plan your snacking, feasting, and sips for the night.

    Have a magical day!
