We are Disneyland annual passport holders who will be visiting DW for 4 nights. Is it worthwhile to upgrade our tickets to Premier?

    Hi Anita!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

You didn't write what kind of Disneyland Annual Pass you have; depending on the answer to that, it is pretty straight forward from a cost comparison perspective.  You can easily do the math on a 3 or 4 Day Magic Your Way ticket and then decide on cost alone.  However, my guess is you didn't want advice based just on cost, but based on the perceived benefit.  In that case, I recommend upgrading.  I have a Disney Premier Passport myself and it really comes in handy at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.  At both locations, you get merchandise discounts and at Walt Disney Word you get some (very limited) dining discounts as well.  However, if you have a Disney Premier Passport then you also get access to the water parks at Walt Disney World plus you are eligible for buying a Tables in Wonderland card.  The Tables in Wonderland card is a great way to save money if you don't have a Disney Dining Plan.  Finally, there are also usually hotel discounts for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and you would have access to those as a Disney Premier Passport holder.  Depending on if they are available when you want to visit, and what category of resort you are staying at, they can be substantial.

So I recommend upgrading!  It's not an easy decision, so good luck, and please write back with more questions!
