Hi there, Diana!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for bringing us your question about the
Magic Key program at the
Disneyland Resort. I hope you’ve been enjoying a year full of memorable moments with your Magic Key!
To enter a Disneyland Resort theme park, Magic Key holders are still required to have both a
theme park reservation and a Magic Key pass that is valid for admission on the date they plan to visit. This policy is the same for all four Magic Key pass types, and there have been no upcoming changes announced as of now. Please note that this does differ from the current theme park reservation rules for Guests with an Annual Pass at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, where Passholders may enter the parks after 2:00 p.m. on certain days without a reservation.
I hope this information clears things up, Diana, but if you need more clarification, please feel free to
write back. Be sure to follow @DisneylandMagicKey on Facebook and Instagram for the latest news about all the
Magic Key benefits available to you as your pixie-dusted year of theme park visits continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
