    Hi Kathy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for asking these Disneyland Resort reopening questions to us hEAR.

Disneyland Resort's last operating theme park day before this unprecedented temporary closure was Friday, March 13. Some guests who are on an Annual Passport payment plan with payment dates later in the month, like myself, did see funds drawn as normally scheduled between March 14 and April 4. However, Disney has decided to both suspend monthly payments until the reopening of the theme parks as well as reimburse any payments made after the start of the closure. I don't have the proper magic mirror to see your account history, but my friends at Annual Passport Member Services would love to assist you in figuring out if any action needs to be taken to reverse any charges. I do have a few numbers I can pass on (bah-da-dum!) to reach these Cast Members: the first is (714) 781-Pass or (714) 781-7277, as well as (714) 781-4567. If you're still having trouble getting through, try (714) 781-4636. These lines should be open from 7:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Pacific, and I've actually had a lot of luck reaching someone easily when calling about an hour before they close.

According to everything I've seen, both as a Moms Panelist but also as an AP, there are two choices for those with Payment Plans about how to continue with your Annual Passport after the reopening:
~ the first choice is that everything is paused during the closure, your expiration date stays the same, and payments will resume upon the parks' reopening if there is time still left on your pass. This is the standard, automatic option for everyone.
~ The second option is that you can have the same number of days that were missed between the closure and the reopening tacked on to your original expiration date, and payments will resume upon the reopening until your new extended end date. To opt in with this plan, you'll need to call (714) 781-4567. For all of the official details, click the 'Annual Passport' drop-down in this Temporary Closure of Disneyland Resort guide.

One important things to note: prior to the closure, if you were to upgrade from one level of passport to a higher tier, not only would you be asked to pay the full difference between the two options at the time of the upgrade, the difference would be for a full year's worth of pass and not a prorated amount based on the time left on your original contract; upgrading would also not add any extra time to your original contract. I'm not sure how upgrades will work during this initial phase of reopening, so definitely ask if upgrades to the extensions are allowed. But also double check the math because depending on how much time is left on your current passes, it might be worth it to upgrade at your original renewal date.

Lastly, be sure to keep up with the Disney Parks Blog as this is the source for the most up-to-date official news straight from Mickey himself. In fact, 'like' and 'follow' the DPB across all of your social media channels so you won't miss a single update!

I hope this helped to clEAR things up a bit, Kathy, and if you have any more Disneyland Resort questions, We're All Ears!
