I have tickets/reservations for Disneyland in Anaheim for January 10 through January 14. I hear the Covid numbers are on the rise. How can I check to to verify there are no restrictions as my vacation nears? (I am driving from New England)

Welcome, Peter! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney! I understand your concern about making sure you are squared away for your visit to the Disneyland Resort. Your trip is just around the corner and I have to say January is one of my favorite months to visit the parks!

Currently, the state of California strongly recommends all Guests be vaccinated or obtain a negative Covid test prior to your trip to your vacation. However, there is currently no requirement to obtain a negative Covid test to enter the Disneyland Resort. Currently, face coverings are required indoors including attractions, ride queues, restrooms, and theme park transportation. Face coverings are optional in outdoor settings.

Can I suggest taking some time to familiarize yourself with the Disneyland app before you go? There are so many great features that will help you make the most of your time in the parks. I absolutely love the convenience of the mobile ordering feature available at many locations. I’m all for spending less time in food lines, which means more time for attractions!

I hope you find this information helpful. Have a wonderful time visiting The Happiest Place on Earth!
