Hey there Sophia, welcome to planDisney!
Pets and other animals, except for service animals, are not allowed at the Disneyland Resort. Service animals are defined on the Disneyland site as a dog or miniature horse that is trained to do work or perform tasks for, and to assist an individual with a disability. All other animals including emotional support, comfort or companion animals are not considered service animals. If your pet is not a service animal, then your furry friend will need to stay at home during your visit.
There are several
Good Neighbor Hotels that do allow certain types of pets. You can filter your search to see which hotels are pet friendly by navigating to "Amenities" and selecting "Pet Friendly." I do recommend speaking with the hotel directly to ensure that your pet would be allowed in the hotel before booking.
Even though our furry friends can't join us at the "Happiest Place on Earth," it doesn't mean we can't bring them home something special! There are several
shops throughout the theme parks and Downtown Disney District that offer some very special pet souvenirs. One of my favorite stores to browse for souvenirs like this is the Disney Home store in the Downtown Disney District, as well as the Emporium in Disneyland Park.
I hope this information is helpful for your planning Sophia! If we can help with any other questions, don't hesitate to
come back and ask.Have a magical day!
