Bright Suns, Lannie! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Your visit to Batuu and the rest of Disneyland Resort isn't far, far away. You must be excited! Of course, you want to don your Jedi attire. My family is visiting the parks for the
Season of the Force, and we've got our outfits planned to be in the spirit as well. We're taking our inspiration from
Star Wars Rebels. But with two adults in the group, we have to get creative about dressing the part. So, I understand the concern that your Jedi robes might conflict with the
Costume Guidelines for the park.
This might be one of those "never tell me the odds" kind of situations because we spoke with a Cast Member and they couldn't supply us with a hard and fast answer whether your robes would meet inspection. I guess, Lannie, we're being reminded yet again that only a Sith deals in absolutes. It's always up to security whether you can enter or whether your outfit doesn't meet park rules.
I know that's frustrating! I suggest you have something underneath your Jedi robes or pack something in a bag that you can quickly throw on instead of the Jedi robes in case you're met with difficulty entering. That way, hopefully, you don't have to return to your car or your hotel to change. You don't want to miss a minute of fun, I'm sure.
Are you ready to explore the new offerings for Season of the Force? Star Tours - The Adventure Continues in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park has new additions I'm excited to experience. What about a themed treat? Or some new merchandise! Plus, there's my favorite Attraction overlay of all time:
Hyperspace Mountain. It's a can't-miss for me.
May the Force be with you.
