Ready for some pixie-dusted news? Making purchases at the Disneyland Resort is easy, since contactless payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted at most
Quick Service dining locations, carts, and retail shops. I use my phone to tap and pay for pretzels, sodas, merchandise, and other items almost every time I visit the Resort.
Tannia, do you have the
Disneyland mobile app? It unlocks another level of convenience! With it, you can
place food and beverage orders from select dining locations throughout the day – you can even select Apply Pay as the form of payment. This is also the case for
Merchandise Checkout in the app, where you can scan and pay for items on your smartphone at certain shops instead of waiting in line. I also use the app to check wait times, access photos, look up showtimes, and discover which Characters are out and about.
Since you'll likely be using your phone throughout the day, I highly recommend bringing a portable charger to keep it powered up. If you forget, don’t worry – there are kiosks around the Resort where you can
purchase a portable charger. The great thing about that is you can swap an empty charger from the kiosk for a fully powered one. This has saved me on multiple occasions when spending long days in the parks!
