    Will be going to Disney with our 7 yr old in 2/2013. What is typical weather in Florida at that time? Also what should be one our 'must do' list?

    Hi Michele!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    My family tries to go to Walt Disney World every February for our break from the winter cold.  After going for many years, I would best describe the weather in February weeks to months in advance as unpredictable.  We have been there when it is fine to walk around in a t-shirt and shorts during the day, and in other years, we have needed coats (and hats and gloves at night).  You will definitely want to check the weather forecast a week or so before you go!

    With regards to "must sees", my 8 year old loves the following:
    • Star Tours at Hollywood Studios
    • Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom
    • Toy Story Midway Mania at Hollywood Studios
    • Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom
    • Soarin' at Epcot
    • Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot
    • Dinosaur at Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Finding Nemo the Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at the Magic Kingdom

    As you can see he has favorite attractions in every theme park.  Please write back if you have any more questions!
