We are going to disney with our 2yr old and is it true that we can use dining credits for him?

Hi Shaanan. Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with my two year old. They are still young enough that they really are enthralled and captivated by the magic! It is really nice that children two years of age and under are welcomed into the Theme Parks without a ticket.

If you choose to use a Disney Dining Plan credit for your son I am almost positive that you would be able to. However in my opinion I do not think it is worth it to use them for him. First children at this age can share food from your plate. If you are at a buffet you can grab any food for him without an additional fee. We have always found that our children were more than content sharing food with us. We did however often purchase them a kids meal for breakfast. The price is relatively inexpensive (usually around $5.00) and comes with a drink. With kids meals being so inexpensive I think it would be in your best interest to purchase a child’s meal and use the dining credits for yourselves to get the most for your money!

I hope that I have helped to answer your question! Please feel free to stop back any time. We love helping guests just like you plan your vacation!

    Have a magical time!
