Hi Dawn,
Welcome to the Moms Panel! Glad to hear you're considering mixing it up a bit, and trying a Disney Cruise! After years of wonderful park visits, it's sometimes hard to imagine vacation getting any better - but I can tell you that a land/sea vacation is the ULTIMATE vacation!
In my experience, I have found that the earlier I book my cruise - the better deal I will get. There are sometimes last minute deals offered, but I if you have decided you want to cruise and have specific dates in mind - I wouldn't wait to book. There are a limited number of cabins on the cruise, and once they are booked - you're out of luck.
Now I will let you know that if you are looking to do a 3 or 4 night voyage combined with a Disney Parks vacation in 2011, I highly doubt you will see any sort of specials or discounts because the
Disney Dream is scheduled to start sailing at this time. The Disney Dream will be offering these shorter voyages and I'm certain there is a high demand for them simply because guests want to experience the new Disney ship. The only other option out of Port Canaveral will be the 7-night voyages on the Disney Magic.
To keep track of any of the current offers, I suggest you bookmark the
Special Offers page and check back frequently to see if anything new is available.
I hope this helps!
