I will be in Disney World with my 9 yr old daugh. and my mom, from 5/5/13-5/10/13, we are staying at Pop, and have the dining plan with 1 snack, 1 quick service and 1 table service meal. With that in mind, how much actual spending do you think we need?

    Hi, Rachel!

The good news is that with your package, you will have your room, food, and tickets covered.  You just need to budget for some extra expenses:

-Tips on your table service meals are not included.  To be safe, budget $20 per meal for tips for the 3 of you, or about $100 total.
-Souvenirs can add up! Set a budget ahead of time.  I give my kids each a gift card with a set amount, and when they use it up, it's gone! (I usually give each kid a $50 gift card for the trip.)
-Extra snacks or meals.  We sometimes need one or two extra quick service meals or snacks. Plan on $100 for the week.  This might be high, but will give you cushion.
-Extra tips if you plan to tip Magical Express driver or housekeeping.  Plan on about $30

I hope this helps.  By planning ahead, you can really stay on budget.  Have a great time at Pop Century!
