I am going to Disney World with my 5 year old daughter, just her and I. I didn't originally plan on taking or renting a stroller, but should I rethink this? I've never been before so I honestly don't know what to expect.

    Hi Meagan!

First, I must say that I think that it is awesome that you are going on a Mother/Daughter vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, and creating memories for you and your daughter's future!

For my children, we have rented strollers, but have stopped about age 4. They were able to do a good portion of walking; however, what we have done is take frequent breaks to ensure that they did not over do it.

Here are some Pros and Cons:
    • Pros- Having a stroller is convenient, and allows you to keep her close in the big crowds, and will allow her that time to recharge between rides and when heading back to the resort.
    • Cons- The stroller can be slightly difficult to maneuver in large crowds. Also, with each and every ride / attraction, you will have to "park" the stroller prior to getting in line.

Whatever the avenue you choose; the key is for both of you to have a great time, which I am sure you will!

Have a magical time, and let us know if you have additional questions!
