Hello, we will be in Disney World over the Wine & Dine Half Marathon this November, we’ve booked to do Early Morning Magic on the Sunday of the half marathon. We aren’t hiring a car, do you think we’ll be ok to get to Magic Kingdom easily?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Will! You’ve got some wonderful morning plans laced with magic this fall! There are a few things you can do to make sure you make it to the parks on time.

You’ll want to check the night before with your concierge to see what the next morning’s bus schedule will be. With Early Morning Magic happening, a bus may be scheduled to your resort earlier than the typical 60 minutes prior to park opening. The second thing you can do is to hire a Minnie Van, my personal favorite form of Walt Disney World Resort transportation. This private car, fully decorated with Minnie polka dots, can be enabled in your LYFT app by the concierge staff and goes for a flat fee of $25 per ride. The van can seat your whole family and comes with two forever car seats, as well. Since they start running around 6:30 am, it’s the perfect, plush approach to make your way to the parks early in the morning. Lastly, if the Minnie Vans are bit too much of a bite into your wallet, you can always hire a taxi or regular ride-share to get you to where you want to be.

If I can help you find your way around the parks, or point you to a belly filling meal, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
