Hey there, Lisa, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World is quickly approaching, and soon you’ll be trekking through the Theme Parks with your favorite Disney Snack in hand. So I’m excited to help you navigate the Parks because we can't have you lost on your Disney vacation! Look at Nemo; he was lost and ended up in an Aquarium! Now that’s no way to spend a vacation. But let’s get back to the task at hand.
Lisa, unfortunately, Walt Disney World no longer mails physical Theme Park maps to Guests. However, there are a few ways to get your hands on some maps so that you can feel confident in your Disney vacation plan. Because as we all know, Disney is SO much better when you’ve properly planned!
With that in mind, the most convenient Walt Disney World Resort map is right in your hand - probably at this very moment while you read this answer. The
My Disney Experience mobile app contains an interactive map feature that displays current attraction wait times, restaurant locations, Photopass locations, and so much more! There is even a GPS feature within the app for those moments when you aren’t quite sure if you’ve been walking around the same tree for 30 minutes. If you haven’t downloaded the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device, I definitely recommend downloading it before your upcoming visit to Disney World.
The
Walt Disney World Resort Map is also available on the Walt Disney World Website in interactive form. This interactive map gives you the ability to zoom in and scroll throughout the Theme Parks to find exactly what you’re looking for.
If neither of those options works, each Theme Parks Guidemap is also available in digital form on the Walt Disney World website. These digital Guidemaps are identical to the physical Guidemaps available at the entrance of each Theme Park. You can find the Guidemap for each Theme Park at the following links:
Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney’s Hollywood Studios,
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, and
EPCOT.
I hope this helps, Lisa! Your Walt Disney World vacation is calling!
Until Next Time,
PG
