Hi Melissa,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before you know it – you are counting down the DAYS, and I’m so excited for you. Let the magic begin!
I was a pumping and nursing mama with both my Mouseketeers, and I know how important it is to have a good strategy for pumping when you need to and storing and preserving that precious milk supply. In all four theme parks, you’ll find
Baby Care Centers, where you’ll be able to pump or nurse. They have air conditioning, outlets, comfy rocking chairs, outlets, and a space where you can clean your pump parts.
To store your milk, you’ll want to bring a good cooler with you. If you bring small resealable bags, you can fill those with ice throughout the day to keep the milk at a safe temperature – any Counter-Service restaurant will be happy to provide you with cups of ice upon request. Be sure to check the
Park Rules to be sure your cooler complies, and note that loose ice is not permitted.
You may want to
rent a locker for the day to store your milk, or you may want to carry it with you so you can check the temperature and refresh ice without having to return to your locker location. It might be helpful to take a look at each
park map before your visit so you can locate the Baby Care Center and locker rental locations – this can save you extra steps in the Florida sun.
Melissa, if you’re bringing your sweet baby, this
Planning Guide for Preschool Kids & Little Ones provides lots of great information to help you squeeze every drop of magic out of your visit. Please come back and see us if you have further questions as you plan and dream, and I hope you have the BEST time!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
