We will be going to Disney World the week before Thanksgiving and staying at POFQ. We have the dining/parkhopper package. If we add an extra night do we have to pay for more dining that we won't use since we will leave that morning?

Hi Jessica! Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter is one of my favorite resorts. The Doubloon Lagoon pool with its fun jazzy colors and blue sea serpent water slide is awesome. So many recreation choices are offered; horse-drawn carriage rides, cane pole fishing, and boat rentals are all available to enjoy.

Disney's Dining Plan is based on the number of nights of your stay so if you add an additional night you will need to also add an additional day to your dining plan. Your meal credits are not tied to any specific date so you have some flexibility. For example use your extra day's quick-service meal for breakfast any day, pick up an extra snack for the ride home, and redeem two table-service credits at once at a signature dining restaurant. Using your additional credits will not be a problem if you eat three meals a day.

Wishing you a magical vacation! If you have additional questions just contact the Moms Panel.
