We are going to Disney World the week of Thanksgiving. We are staying at AOA and I was wondering is it warm enough to go swimming. The resort has some neat pools and my daughter is wanting to swim in them.

    Hi Sara,

The pools at the Art of Animation resorts are among the coolest in all of Walt Disney World. My best answer is that it probably will be warm enough to swim. The average high temperature for November is near 80 with lows near 60, and the pools at all the resorts are heated to 82 degrees year-round.

My family was at Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving last year and had nice, warm weather at the beginning of our week. But then there was an unusual cold snap and the overnight temperatures dropped into the 30s late in the week. So you never know.

My advice is to be prepared to dress in layers and absolutely pack your swimsuits. Chances are that you will be able to use them during part or all of your visit.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let me know if I can help in any other way as you plan your Thanksgiving visit. I'll be there at the same time again this year and can't wait. Enjoy!
