Can I use the disney world website to make two separate reservations for the same dates? Our group will need two rooms

Hi Shelley, welcome to planDisney! We are glad you decided to contact us for your planning questions. Two rooms mean there are enough people for a party, your arrival date is always the party of the year.

Walt Disney World Resort is a pretty popular place to spend New Year's Eve. There is such a special feeling in the air. The changing of the calendars, the excitement building to midnight. You should have an amazing time and you sure can book two separate reservations online for the same dates. I would start with the Vacation Planning Page. This is where it all starts, the list of Disney Collection Resorts, the lowdown on Theme Park Tickets, and all the shopping. If you feel more comfortable speaking with someone about your options you can always speak with reservations when you call Walt Disney World.

There are a couple of different options for room recommendations. One is to stay at one of the resorts close to the wonder of Magic Kingdom Park. If you decide to stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort you are a ride on the monorail or a quick walk to the Magic Kingdom's main gate. You can usually request rooms near your other reservation. While no guarantees are ever made the cast members are always as accommodating as possible with room requests. Staying near each other may make a huge impact on your visit and they are always working overtime to make sure the magic is present throughout your visit. Another nice option is the 2 bedroom suites if you don't mind sharing some space and yet still have the privacy needed. The suites have a view of either Bay Lake or the theme park. Both options are amazing and you can see fireworks right from the resort.

Your trip to ring in the new year will be fantastic, if you have any other planning questions or can't decide which resort to pick from, drop us another line at planDisney.com and we will be happy to help figure out which one is right for your visit.

    Have a magical day!
