Our Disney World vacation is scheduled for April 16 through April 22, 2023. We are DVC members and our home resort is Boardwalk! How soon can I make park reservations? Thanks!

Hey there, Elizabeth! Welcome back to planDisney and Welcome Home, neighbor! I am so happy that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. I couldn't be more excited to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member with a Home Resort of Disney's BoardWalk Villas! Woohoo!

Don't you just love Disney's BoardWalk Villas?! It's one of my very favorite DVC Resorts. The immersive Coney Island style BoardWalk theming, lively vibe, fantastic dining options, awesome Resort activities, my favorite waterslide at Walt Disney World Resort, and location within walking distance to TWO of the theme parks make this the perfect pixie-dusted home away from home right in the middle of the magic. I'm so excited for you, and I am thrilled to help you plan your next magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Since you already know that you must make Theme Park Pass reservations to enter all four of the theme parks, your planning is already off to a fantastic start! And I think you will be happy to hear that you can make your Theme Park Pass reservations for your April 2023 vacation NOW!

Start by making sure that your DVC Resort reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account. Then, if you haven't already, purchase your theme park tickets and make sure that they are linked to your My Disney Experience account. Once your tickets are linked, you can make your Theme Park Pass reservations to lock down your desired park days.

If you are an Annual Passholder with a Pass expiration date before April 2023, you may not be able to make your Theme Park Pass reservations yet, and here is why. To make your Park Pass reservations, you need valid park admission for your travel dates, and if your Pass expires before April 2023, the system recognizes that you technically don't have park admission for your dates yet. If this is the case for you, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" You can renew your Annual Pass up to 60 days before its expiration date, so, once you renew, head straight to your My Disney Experience account to lock down your Park Pass reservations. Let the magic begin!

Have you heard the news that BoardWalk Bakery has been transformed into the new and improved BoardWalk Deli?! Don't worry - the Everything Bagel Sandwich and Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Tomato-Basil Soup are still on the menu (Phew!). But now, there are even more delicious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I was excited to see Key Lime Pie still on the menu, but I may just have to try the Cannoli next time. YUM!

Elizabeth, I hope this was helpful! If you have any trouble making your Theme Park Pass reservations, just swing back by and let me know, and I'll be happy to help. I hope you have the most magical and memorable time on your spring vacation. Stop by any time with any planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
