    Hi. I have a Disney World vacation planned for Feb. 2017. Up until last week I was able to make payments online through the My Disney Experience website but now it is not an option. Any idea why i can't?

    Hi, Chassidy! I am so sorry you have had difficulty this week while attempting to make payments on your upcoming vacation. Paying for your vacation package over time is a great way to budget for all of the unforgettable magic headed your way. Normally, these periodic payments can be paid online on the My Reservations page within My Disney Experience. However, that sneaky Experiment 626, Stitch, has apparently been making a mess of this area lately.

    I called the Disney Reservation Center last week and spoke with a wonderful Cast Member about the whereabouts of this payment area. She informed me that there is a known issue with the payment link and it is being addressed. If you do need to make a payment, please call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations number and a Cast Member will be more than happy to assist you.

    I have an important tip for you, Chassidy. The Magic Your Way package balance does not have to be paid in full before you make Advance Dining Reservations or FastPass+ selections. While noting in your calendar the date that your package balance will need to be paid, be sure to make a note of when you are able to complete both of these - 180 days in advance of check-in for Advance Dining Reservations and 60 days in advance of check-in for your FastPass+ selections. Some dining locations and favorite FastPass+ selection do get taken quickly, so try not say "let it go" when planning for these!
