Hi. Our Disney World vacation will be over Halloween. Mickey's Not So Scary is probably too scary for my little one. Are there other festivities around the resort? Also, will our Glow with the Show ears still work from 3 years ago?

    Hi Gina,

What a fun time to travel to the most magical place on earth! You will have a "WonderFALL" time during your visit. With so many fun fall decorations, events and specialty food treats, you are sure to create some great Halloween memories that you would not other times of the year.

While Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an amazing event with fun character meet and greets and dance parties that even the tiniest tots can enjoy. The Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular and HalloWishes Fireworks spectacular are more entertaining and fun than scary, but you know your children best. I would also say that the party can run pretty late for little ones, too. So, I am happy to report that there are costume contests, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, dance parties and special Halloween-themed movies planned at many of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. They do vary by resort, so upon arrival, I would recommend you ask about the happenings at your particular resort. Please keep in mind these events could vary or change without notice and some may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

In regards to the Glow with the Show ears, I cannot guarantee that they would work after three years. This doesn't mean it is not possible, but I would be remiss if I did not warn you that they may not.

    Have a spooktacular Halloween!
