Our Disney World vacation is booked for this July when my husband and I will be traveling with our 4 year old twins to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary! What is a good restaurant to go eat at to celebrate our anniversary together as a family?

Hello Kristen!  Congratulations on your upcoming wedding anniversary.

There is no where I'd rather eat on my anniversary than at 'Ohana, located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  To eat there, I strongly suggest making dining reservations 180 days in advance.  You can make reservations online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.  It's a great place to dine for the whole family but still nice enough for an anniversary.  The meal is all-you-care-to-enjoy served right to your table.  Main course offerings include steak, pork, and peel and eat shrimp all cooked on a wood fire grill right in the middle of the restaurant.  There is also dining room entertainment like hula dancing, coconut races and the limbo!  If you time your reservation just right, about an hour before the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, and request a window seat you will have a great view for the display.  The restaurant even dims the lights and pipes in the music from the show.

My family and I love 'Ohana so much, we typically try to eat there two times while on vacation.  We've been dining there for years and it is by far my favorite Walt Disney World restaurant.  I think it would be absolutely perfect for your family friendly anniversary celebration!

Hope this helps, if you have any other questions please ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
