We have been in Disney World and usually get fast pass because my son has Autism , but I’m been reading that they don’t have fast pass for Galaxy’s Edge, What do I need to do? That way we could enjoy our trip

    Bright Suns Minerva!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing your question to us. I’m very excited to hEAR that you will be traveling to a galaxy far far away soon!

Disney is very accommodating to all Guests, including my son whom, has some medical complications that make it difficult for him to wait in line. Like you, we began with simply using FastPass+ services until we discovered there was more help available to him. When we visit, we began our day at Guest Relations where a Cast Member assists us with accessing a Disability Access Service Card. We are then able to use this Disability Access Service Card for the remainder of our trip at Walt Disney World Resort Attractions. My son simply selects which attractions he wants to experience and as long as he meets the posted height requirements, the Cast Member will issue us a return time for the attraction. The use of this allows my family to wait outside of the actual line queue, and return when our time is called.

There are many services available for Guests, including those on the Autism Spectrum. So be sure to visit Guest Relations or you can even contact Disability Services before your arrival so that a Cast Member can better assist you with your personal needs and questions. Every Guest is different, and Disney does a great job of listening and figuring out what works best for your family.

I’ve grown up going to Disney Parks and it wasn’t until my son was 4-years old that I realized we needed more help in the parks with him. I had no idea that Guest Relations would be able to provide us with options that best fit his needs! Just makes sure to visit Guest Relations at the start of your trip so that your son can experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in a way that is accommodating to him! (Tip: Don’t forget to check the height requirements prior to your arrival! My son always has a hard time processing when he is too short to experience a certain attraction at the time of our visits).
