    Does Disney World do any type of ball for New Year’s Eve? I’m looking for something fun and formal, to dress up and have an elegant evening. Thank you for any help you can give me. Ruth

    Hello Ruth and thanks for bringing such a fun question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 
    Just like Cinderella, I believe that each and every Princess should don her very best gown, wear her favourite tiara to attend an elegant ball once in a while and I can't think of a better occasion to celebrate other than to welcome in a new yEar!
    Although at present I don't have any Disney official New Years Eve 2018 information to share I can tell you about the fun and formal offerings during this past New Years Eve 2017 at Walt Disney World Resort where there were a couple of adult only events at Disney's Contemporary Resort; Disney Countdown to Midnight held in the Fantasia Ballroom and Down in New Orleans: A Disney New Year's Eve Dining Experience held in the Sorcerers Apprentice Ballroom -more can be learned about these special events in this Disney Parks Blog ~ Celebrate the New Year at Walt Disney World Resort.
    Of course the best way to welcome in any new yEar is always with a spectacular fireworks display and the Disney Parks Blog ~ Where to Watch New Years Eve Fireworks at Walt Disney World Resort contains all the very best hints and tips for viewing Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks and attending DJ dance parties and more!
