Hi, Melissa!
I’m so happy to hear you’re planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your little ones! I’m a big fan of introducing kids to the magic of Disney early on, so my own son’s first visit to a Disney Park was when he was just a few months old.
Many of the quick-service venues allow you to bring your stroller inside, and all of the quick-service dining options with outdoor seating will typically let you keep your baby in the stroller while you eat. However, most of the table-service restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort do have a no-strollers policy, and you’ll be asked to leave it in a designated stroller parking area outside.
Exceptions can sometimes be made, though, if your child is asleep in the stroller when you arrive. You may be all allowed to bring the stroller to the table instead of disturbing your sleeping little one, so ask if this is a possibility. If you find yourself dinging at a restaurant that won’t allow your stroller inside, consider bringing along a baby carrier (my favorite is the ERGObaby) or sling. That way your baby will be secure but you can have both hands free.
If you have a stroller system that uses a bucket-style car seat that can detach from the stroller base, some of the Walt Disney World restaurants may have a special infant high chair specifically for use with these types of car seats, so be sure to ask if one is available. You could also place the car seat and baby on a chair or booth seat next to you while you eat.
I hope this helps, Melissa, and that you enjoy a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation! Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as your planning continues.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
