I have been to Disney World 2 times, both times with 3 children. A friend of mine is traveling with just her and her husband and wanted to know some fun "adult" things to do. Could you please give us a few suggestions.

    Hello Shelley,

My husband and I love tucking our daughter into bed and then exploring Disney on our own!

I love to eat. And at Disney, the choices are endless. But I particularly like the fine international dining that can be found at Epcot's World Showcase. And if they would like to consume a few adult spirits after dinner, tell them to think margaritas in Mexico, beer in Germany, or sake in Japan, all while watching Illuminations!

Like music? Try the dueling pianos at Jellyrolls on the BoardWalk. Or try a jig at Raglan Road Irish Pub in Downtown Disney. (I suggest while there having the bread pudding too. Yum!)

If your friends are staying at a Disney resort and are night owls, I highly recommend taking advantage of any Extra Magic Hours the theme parks are offering the evenings they are there. As the night progresses, more and more guests and their children retire, leaving the park virtually just for them. If your friend is a kid at heart, she'll love riding Dumbo at night...I just know it!

Disney also offers various tours and experiences that they may enjoy too.

I hope your friend enjoys her trip. And I hope you and your family can return to the magic real soon!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
