I have been to Disney World 5 times in my life and we are heading back this July with our children for their first trip. In years past I have always brought walking shoes, today I am a total flip flop person. Do you think I will be ok with just flip flops?

    Hi Maegan,

I am also a huge flip flop person and my daughter is too.  I can very easily walk a whole day in my comfy flip flops (probably not the healthiest shoe for me to wear when walking far distances but I still do it) and I can't remember the last time I wore anything but flip flops at WDW.  I usually bring some sneakers (that are broken in) with me (just in case), but I always seem to be fine.  I do have very cushioned flip flops though (not those thinned soled ones) and while I am okay, my daughter who also loves her flip flops, can not walk a whole day in them at WDW like I can.  She has to have her full sneakers on or her feet end up getting sore and full of blisters.  If I were you, I would bring both styles of shoe and play it by ear, at least you'll be prepared if you are not able to wear them the whole time.  Best of luck!
