We have been to Disney World many times and always stayed at the resorts. We are considering staying at a Disney Hotel at Disney Springs. What are the pros and cons?

    Hi Danny,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There's lots I love about Walt Disney World, and one love is that each vacation can feel like an entirely new experience. Staying at different resorts — each with its own style and vibe — is one way to make return visits feel new. I always recommend staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or Disney Vacation Club Resort for the perks they offer. These benefits include enjoying Extra Magic Hours for more park time, making FastPass+ selections at 60 days before arrival, adding a Dining Plan, using Walt Disney World Bus Service, taking the complimentary Disney's Magical Express transportation from and to Orlando International Airport, and the complimentary multi-purpose and cool-to-wear MagicBand. That's a lot of perks! The good news is that some of these perks — enjoying Extra Magic Hours and making FastPass+ selections at 60 days — are now also available for Guests staying at one of the select Disney Springs Area Hotels. Other perks are exclusive to Walt Disney World Resort hotels. On the "pro" side, the Disney Springs Area Hotels offer an easy stroll to all the dining, shopping, and entertainment at Disney Springs.

Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!
