Welcome to planDisney, Andy! We're so glad you're here!
How exciting to hear you're thinking of booking a last-minute visit to
Walt Disney World! I think a spontaneous Walt Disney World Resort vacation is always a good idea! I don't know about you, but I'm always counting down the days until my next vacation. So, you've got the right idea to get something on the calendar as soon as possible! Now, since time is of the essence here, let's get to your question, shall we?
The theme park tickets you purchased before 2020 will have expired, but the value of these tickets will remain in your account and can be applied toward a future visit. Unfortunately, these expired tickets are not visible in your
My Disney Experience account. So, to use them, you will need to call the Existing Tickets team a call at (407) 934-7639, and they will help you purchase new tickets with the unused credit on your account.
But, before you do that, I do recommend first taking a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure that your preferred parks are available when you plan to visit. Keep in mind that a
Park Pass Reservation is still required for the first park you plan to visit each day. So, before finalizing your ticket purchase, you'll want to make sure your dates are still available. I would have for you to lock in those dates and then not be able to visit the park you were hoping to enjoy.
Andy, we here at
planDisney love answering questions from fellow Guests to help make their vacation as magical as possible! So, please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions you may have as you finalize the plans for your upcoming visit!
Have a magical day!
Diana
