We will be in Disney World for the Super Bowl 2023. Where would be a good place to watch the game while eating dinner? We are staying at the Polynesian and would love to eat somewhere semi-close to the resort/at the resort.

Hi Kelli! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question today. Although most folks don't associate the Walt Disney World Resort with the Super Bowl, there are quite a few great spots to take a break from your vacation and enjoy the big game.

You've made a great choice by staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - it's one of my favorites! An easy option that's close to home for you would be to catch the game at the Polynesian's Tambu Lounge. The last few times I've been there recently they've had one or two TVs with sporting events on, so I think it is a safe assumption that the game of all games would also be available. The great thing about this option is that you're close to your room if you decide you want to watch without a crowd, and if you're hungry, you have access to some great favorites from nearby 'Ohana! Other Resort lounges with TVs will also likely have the game on, so you're not limited to the Polynesian.

Disney Springs is another great option, with my top recommendations being Splitsville Luxury Lanes and City Works Eatery & Pour House. Both have great food and drink options, and are simply riddled with screens - many of which will undoubtedly be showing the game. In the past, there has also been viewing at some non-traditional venues, like the Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney's BoardWalk, for example, but it will be a while before any of these potential options are planned or announced.

I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see if there are any updates closer to your arrival and checking in with the Cast Members at your Resort Front Desk as soon as you arrive to learn about any last-minute options. Also, if you're thinking about one of the Disney Springs options, I suggest making a reservation in advance just in case. You can always do some on-site sleuthing the day you arrive and make last-minute adjustments based on what you learn from Cast Members on the ground.

I hope this helps get your planning gears turning - let us know when other questions pop up, Kelli!
