I will be in Disney World and will be staying at a Value Resort. Do I have to bring anything to over night park in the parking lot like printed reservation? I am guessing the parking will have something todo with the magic bands like everything else.

    Hi Samantha,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You will soon be enjoying your family's vacation in the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I'm happy to help with your last-minute details.

When you arrive at any Walt Disney World resort in your personal vehicle, the security personnel at the entrance will ask whether you are checking in or visiting for another reason, such as dining or shopping. The driver will need to show a photo ID. If you have your MagicBand handy, they can scan it to verify your reservation. Or they can check the records for it if you don't have a MagicBand within reach.

If you have done online check-in, you will get a text or email letting you know your room number when it is ready. You can skip the front desk and head straight to your room if it is available, using your MagicBand to unlock the door.

If you arrive early before your room is available, no worries. You can park your car and head straight to the theme parks using the complimentary Walt Disney World transportation. (If you prefer to drive to the parks, have your MagicBand ready to scan at the parking lot entrance. Guests in Disney resorts receive free standard parking.)

I hope that helps, Samantha. Please let us know if you have any other questions in the few days before your arrival. Enjoy!
