We will be in Disney World starting September 18th. We plan on going to a park 4 days during our week stay. Can I reserve a park on line?

Howdy, Michael! Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney!

I'm so glad to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this December, as you will be able to enjoy all that The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration has to offer! One of the most incredible highlights of the celebration is the new nighttime fireworks spectacular, Disney Enchantment. You'll watch in awe as both Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A., come alive with color, light and music. I can say from experience that the show will absolutely blow you away!

Michael, I am so happy to share that you can absolutely make your Park Pass Reservations online ahead of your visit. As a reminder, you'll need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you've purchased the Park Hopper Option, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. So, let’s talk about how to make your reservation. To get started, you must ensure your theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience. To check, head over to your My Disney Experience app and navigate to “Tickets & Passes” by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. If you see your tickets here, you are all linked up. If not, follow the steps below to link your tickets to your account:

    • First, locate the ticket ID number from your confirmation email. This can be found under the barcode on the corner of your confirmation.
    • Log into your My Disney Experience account from your web browser.
    • Hover over the My Disney Experience Logo and select “My Plans” from the drop-down menu.
Scroll down until you see “Park Tickets” and click on “Link Tickets.”
    • You can then input your Ticket ID number, follow the steps to complete the linking process, and you are all set!

Now that you have your tickets linked to your account, it’s time to make your Park Pass Reservations by following the steps below:

    • Log into your My Disney Experience app and click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar.
    • Click on “Make a Park Reservation.”
    • From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open.
    • You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve.
    • Follow the prompts to complete your reservation, and you’re done!

Not too bad, right, Michael?! I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! You are visiting during such a wonderful time with so much to do and see at Walt Disney World! So, please visit us again soon if you have any questions or want to hear some of our recommendations. We would love to help make your vacation as magical as possible!

    Have a magical day!
