Boo to you, Toni!
We extend to you a very spooktacular welcome to planDisney! I, too, am
dying to find out when the Halloween decorations will adorn the Walt Disney World Resort's theme parks. Like the great Madame Leota, I will turn to my crystal ball to see when these boo-tiful decorations will materialize.
Ahhh! I do see that the first
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park (a separately ticketed event) this year is on August 11, 2023, so we should expect to see the decorations go up a little bit before then. Perhaps about a week in advance. In years past, this is usually when those autumn-inspired ornamentations and drapes appear. I can't wait to see the classic Mickey-shaped pumpkins on Main Street, U.S.A., which you can ogle both during normal park hours and at the after-hours event.
The other theme parks, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, usually don't display Halloween decorations; however, you may see a few themed treats or hints of autumn here and there. But one of my family's favorite spooky season experiences is at
Hollywood & Vine's Minnie's Halloween Dine. Minnie Mouse and other characters dress up in their Halloween best while you feast on an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you happen to be at the Most Magical Place on Earth at the end of October and into the next month, it's amazing to see how quickly the decorations transform into a winter wonderland come November 1. I guess it's just a bunch of Hocus Pocus! It's a great way to see two celebratory environments in one trip.
I hope that you have the most spooktacular Halloween season, Toni. You may ask us 999 questions here at planDisney, but there's always room for one more...
I'm all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
